150 homes and businesses in White's Cross could be without water this morning.
Uisce Eireann says its working to restore supply after a burst watermains.
Water tankers are being being provided at Ros Árd Estate, Upper Glanmire, Whites Cross while Uisce Eireann carry out repairs.
In a statement to RedFM News yesterday Uisce Éireann said:
"Uisce Éireann is working to restore normal water supply following a burst watermain in Whites Cross, Co. Cork. Approximately 150 premises may be impacted. Dedicated water services crews will be on the ground to carry out repair works in the morning. To support impacted customers, an alternative water supply will be available from 8am tomorrow morning, Wednesday 03 July.
Location: Ros Árd Estate, Upper Glanmire, Whites Cross (Google Maps co-ordinates XH3F+5H4 Cork).
Customers are reminded to use their own containers when taking water from the tanker and to boil water before consumption as a precautionary measure, as per HSE advice.
Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours.
