The bad weather caused flights to be cancelled and diverted from Cork Airport.
13 flights were axed, a further 6 had to be rerouted to Shannon and Dublin, while one flight was forced to return to Birmingham Airport.
Speaking to RedFM News, Barry Holland from Cork Airport says flights are operating as normal today:
"Operations are proceeding as normal. Obviously, the weather conditions have cams significantly, allowing for operations to resume as normal. The only impact this morning was the cancellation of the KLM flight to Amsterdam. That was due to the fact that the aircraft couldn't travel from Amsterdam last night so didn't overnight in Cork Airport.".
