The HSE’s online portal is now open for all adults – allowing them to sign up for an mRNA jab.

Health Minister Stephen Donnelly says this is happening because the vaccination programme is ahead of schedule.

Irish Travel agents are seeing an increase in bookings of close on 20% since covid travel restrictions were relaxed on Monday.

The industry says people are back in the mood to travel after 16 months of lockdowns.

Today is set to be the warmest of the year so far as the heatwave continues.

Temperatures could reach above 31 degrees in parts, with six counties under a status orange weather warning.

The rest of the country has a status yellow alert – both run until Friday.
