The weather is getting colder, wetter and darker,  and as Storm Barra makes its way across the country, it really is the time to snuggle up on your couches, grab some treats and get into the festive spirit.

What better way to kick off this list than with an absolute classic. The 1998 film follows the life of Charlie, as he unable to overcome the loss of his dad, Jack. However, Charlie’s life changes when Jack returns as a snowman.

Hugh Jackman, Isla Fisher, Chris Pine and many more major celebs take over the voices of your most loved holiday representatives. However the 2012 film takes a turn when Pitch, an evil spirit, comes to planet Earth to hurt children and try and take over the world.

The Nativity is a British comedy musical that follows primary school teacher Paul. He is set the task of  producing the year’s nativity play, however Paul gets himself into trouble when he tells someone that a Hollywood producer will be turning the play into a movie.

This musical Christmas comedy follows the story of Bill Murray as he worries no one will show up to his TV show due to a terrible snowstorm in New York City.
