Cork set to get another 24 hour bus service
Cork is set to get another 24 hour bus service.
The National Transport Authority announced details morning, which intend to transform public transport across the Cork Metropolitan Bus Network.
A new 24 hour bus service running north south from Carrigaline to Hollyhill will come into effect, adding to the east west route from Mahon to Ballincollig.
There will be seven all day high frequency bus routes, running every 15 minutes or better, with more busses during peak periods, along with new bus services to previously unserved areas such as upper Glanmire, Waterfall and Kerry Pike.
The new plans will result in an overall increase of 53% in bus services in Cork.
