A second beach in West Cork has been issued with a Do Not Swim notice.
Swimming at Owenahincha beach has been banned due to high levels of bacteria in the water.
The county council say it's in the interest of public health following recent localised storm conditions.
Microbiological tests are being carried over the coming days to further assess the quality of the water.
Yesterday a do not swim notice was issued for the Warren Beach in West Cork for the second time this year.
