An Bord Pleanála has overturned a decision by the City Council to refuse planning for a residential development in the Ballincollig area.
In December 2020 permission was sought for the development of 62 houses at a site located in the town lands of Coolroe and Classes in Ballincollig.
planners at the Council denied permission as they were unsatisfied aspects of the layout and design and access to the site.
An appeal was lodged with revisions to the proposal.
An Bord Pleannala has now decided to grant permission to the development, with 20 conditions attached.
