Argentina has elected a right-wing populist known as 'the Madman' as its new president.
Javier Milei has been compared to former US president Donald Trump, and has promised to deal with Argentina's soaring inflation and rising poverty.
Donald Trump has congratulated him on his victory saying he would "Make Argentina Great Again!".
Milei's 56% of the vote is the biggest winning margin since the country returned to democracy in 1983.
