The White Horse Guitar Club preformed at the live music event which took place in Ballincollig Regional Park.
The concert is part of a series which will feature artists such as The Frank and Walters, Stevie G, Blakkheart, Jack O'Rourke and Sinead Ní Mhurchu.
John Spillane & Lorraine Nash will preform tonight at Ballinlough Gardens.
The series is funded by Cork City Arts Office and will take place in parks across Cork until the 4th September.
They come amid growing frustration within the live entertainement sector that the industry remains largely closed.
The government has promised a "clear road map" for the sector by the end of the month when it will announce the next phase of the removal of Covid-19 restrictions.
Music Promoter, Ed O'Leary of The Good Room told RedFM News that he is hoping for a relaxation of restrictions in line with the current vaccine take-up:
"It's fantastic, obviously, to be back promoting music again. And with this "Magic Night By The Lee" it has turned into one. The band are on stage. There's a lovely crowd in. And, you know, it's just fantastic to be back working here in Cork with a lovely open air concert. From the roadmap, I'm really hoping to see a loosening of restrictions majorly for the live industry in line with the current vaccine take up. It'd be great to be able to keep working after all the shows are done."
