Tom Brady created history (again) in the NFL last night.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarter back returned to his former side the New England Patriots, steering the Buccs to a 19-17 win.

Brady surpassed Drew Brees' record with a 28 yard pass Mike Evans in the first quarter.

Brady finished with 269 yards with 22 completions from 43 attempts, and while he didn't score a touchdown on his return to his former home he engineered the game winning drive that saw Ryan Succop kick a 48 yard field goal right on the stroke of the two minute warning.

The Patriots did get into field goal range with their final drive, only for Nick Folk to see his 56 yard kick come back off the upright.

Brady spent 20 years with the Patriots, winning 6 of his 7 championship rings there.
