Popstar Britney Spears has announced she is engaged!
Spears announced the news in a post on Instagram showing off her beautiful ring in a video with her now fiancé Sam Asghari by her side.

Britney and Sam met in 2016 on the set of her music video for Slumber Party. Recently Britney expressed her desire to marry Sam and to have children but felt the conservatorship imposed on her was preventing her from doing so.
The new of the engagement comes only days after her father Jamie filed a petition to end the conservatorship that has been in place since 2008.
Britney already has two children, Sean and Jayden, from a previous marriage to Kevin Federline.
