Business owners in the city say weather warnings bring huge fears for their premises.
Met Éireann has issued a 24 hour Status Orange rain warning for Cork starting at midday tomorrow.
A Status Yellow rain warning which also affects Kerry will remain in place until then.
Morrisons Quay, Wandesford Quay and other low lying areas of the city flooded during high tide this morning.
Speaking to RedFM News, Owner of 3 Little Piggies café on Union Quy, Paul Walsh says Orange alert brings more concerns:
"With the wind, high tide, and the rain on top of it, when it all meets together and that's when the likes of South Terrace and Oliver Plunkett Street are in trouble. But when you see the orange warning coming in. You've always got that risk that it's going to enter premises and cause damage to floors, stock. And there is no insurance that covers that."
