Popstars Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendes have announced their split.
Both singers shared the news on their Instagram accounts to let their fans know they have gone their separate ways. Both stars said their "love for one another as humans is stronger than ever" and that they would remain "best friends".
The pair revealed they were a couple in 2019 after being friends for several years after initially meeting when they were opening acts for YouTube star Austin Mahone.
Mendes and Cabello also joined forces for the songs I Know What You Did Last Summer and Senorita, the latter beginning the rumours the duo were romantically involved.
The pair's full statement said: "Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever.
"We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends.
"We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward."
