The CEO of the Mercy University Hospital Foundation, Micheál Sheridan, has died after a short battle with cancer
The 51 year-old was diagnosed with bowel cancer last November.
In a statement the Mercy Hospital has extended their deepest sympathies to Micheál's family - his wife Claire and four children and has thanked him for the huge volume of work he did for the hospital and for the not- for-profit sector in Ireland for over quarter of a century
He first joined the hospital foundation in 2007, in 2021 he took up the role of CEO of Irish Community Air Ambulance where he spent three years before returning to the Foundation as the start of this year
