Childline say they hope to raise around €4000 from people getting tattoos in the city today.

The children’s charity have teamed up with “Black Poppy” on Father Matthew Street, Art Lab on Patrick’s Quay and “Smiley Dog” which has two locations on North Main Street and Oliver Plunket Street.

The parlors will donate 100 percent of their profits to ISPCC and customers can choose tattoos between 60 and 100 euro.

Speaking to RedFM News, Erin McEveney from ISPCC says they hope to raise a lot of money for Childline in Cork:

"We hope to raise around €4000 for Childline for the Cork community through the tattoos. So you come in and get a tattoo and the shop proceeds will go to Childline on the day. That will help support our services in Cork. We have an office based here in Cork for kids and young people across the region."
