Gregory Porter and the Buena Vista All Stars are among the acts headlining this year's Guinness Cork Jazz Festival.
Over the October bank holiday weekend, Cork will come alive with the sound of jazz at up to 80 venues including new additions like the Kino and Cork School of Music.
Hypnotic Brass Ensemble along with the X Collective and Friends have just been added to the line up.
Festival Director Mark Murphy told RedFM News that this year's programme is a blend of internationally renowned acts and local talent:
"The additions that we have now are like De La Soul, you know, probably the greatest hip hop band of all time. You have Amadou and Mariam, who basically just closed the Paralympics last weekend, they have a huge profile. And then also we have a very exclusive one, which is the Buena Vista All Stars coming over to perform from Cuba. They're only doing select shows around the world."
