There are claims Ireland's immigration rules are not being enforced.
Independent TD Michael McNamara says decisions are not being made quickly enough, causing "chaos".
Deputy McNamara says the Taoiseach is 'wrong' to say that laws are being enforced:
"Anybody who's gotten a plane in Ireland or to Ireland knows that your identity documentation is checked in the country that you're coming from. And we have 1000s of people, over 4000 in 2022, slightly less than that in 2023 arriving without any documentation whatsoever. That's an offense in Ireland and it's not being prosecuted".
