A local community in Wicklow is coming to terms with the death of an 11 year old girl while on holidays in Spain.
Clodagh Phelan fell from a hotel balcony in Majorca yesterday.
Avondale GAA club and Rathdrum Rugby Club paid tribute to Cloadagh, calling her a "rare talent" who "excelled" on sporting fields.
Fine Gael Councillor for Arklow, Sylvester Bourke, says Wicklow is reeling:
"I know them very well. I know the mum and dad, Valerie and Liam. They're both really hard working people, the pillars of the community, Rally well known in agri circles and banking circles. Really and truly, I don't know how they're going to cope with this. My heart and everybody's heart goes out to them".
