Cork Airport is set to welcome it's 1 millionth passenger this year.
It comes as the airport is preparing for a busy Bank Holiday weekened with 56,000 passengers expected.
In a statement to RedFM News, Cork Airport say this Friday the 2nd of June will be the busiest day of the weekend with a 13% increase on last years flights.
Two new routes have been added ahead of the airports peak summer season, with flights to Seville and La Rochelle commencing this weekend.
