Cork are into the All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final.
The Rebels turned in a performance for the ages, beating the defending champions Limerick by two points in front of a sold out Croke Park.
1-28 to 29 points was how it finished, Brian Hayes finding the net for Cork in the first half.
Cork will now face Clare in the decider on July 21st, a repeat of the 2013 All Ireland Final which the Banner won after a replay, while Cork are back in the final for the first time since 2021, where they lost out to Limerick.
Cork haven't won an All Ireland title since 2005, and boss Pat Ryan knows that the hype ahead of the final is going to be huge.
"Look, I said this when I got into this job, fellas asked me what would success be in this job.
"If you're the Cork manager you've to win the All Ireland. Simple as that. If you don't do it, it's not successful.
"There's fellas who have gone before me who have got to All Ireland Finals, and who have been very unlucky.
"We judge ourselves in Cork on winning All Irelands, and we need to get back to that."
Limerick saw their drive for five ended yesterday at the hands of Cork, and their boss John Kiely congratulated the Rebels on their win.
"We did have chances coming down the stretch, but Cork their shooting was incredible. I don't know how many points they got from the sideline, but they got quite a few down that left hand side.
"But congratulations to Cork, we wish them and Clare the best in the final, and it's over to them now."
