From Tuesday, 3rd August, Cork City Council's two multi-storey car parks at North Main Street, and Paul Street will be offering drivers one hour of free parking, instead of two.
After the first hour, the regular charges will apply.
Since soon after the onset of the pandemic, Cork City Council had been offering reductions in the cost of parking, to entice visitors into the cirty centre.
The council says disc parking remains in operation in Cork City's designated disc parking areas.
The Black Ash Park and Ride will continue to operate with the usual charges applying.
