Cork County Council has launched the Creative Communities Programme Fund 2024 for projects in County Cork.
The fund focuses on projects that promote cultural and creative activities within communities.
For the first time ever, the fund will consider projects of one, two, or three years in duration.
The fund does allow for projects that involve collaboration between community groups and the creative sector, including artists, designers, makers, and arts organisations.
The Council expects successful projects to enhance the quality of life and well-being in the community e.g. through events, research, workshops, conversations, placemaking programs, or programs involving multicultural or multigenerational communities.
The fund provides varying levels of financial support based on the project duration. The maximum award is €10,000 for a one-year project, €20,000 for a two-year project, and €30,000 for a three-year project, with minimum awards also specified, with a minimum award of €2,000, €4,000, and €6,000, respectively.
The programme is funded by Creative Ireland.
An online information session will be held on 1st February at 1 pm with more details. Contact [email protected] to register or for funding queries.
Applications are open until 23rd February 2024 and can be submitted through www.CorkCoCo.ie.
