A drug and alcohol treatment charity in Cork says it’s never too late to ask for help.
Coolmine Cork set up a recovery programme after a surge in cocaine addiction across the county.
The charity says cocaine addiction is the 2nd biggest problem among service users after alcohol dependency.
Speaking to RedFM News, Brian Duncan from Coolmine Cork says the charity will work with someone at any stage of addiction:
"It's never too late to reach out for help, it's never too early to reach out for help, so that's what we'd say in Coolmine, we work with people at every stage of the recovery process so the cocaine specific program, it's a very interesting program because there's an emphasis on physical fitness and activity to complement the psychoeducation and therapeutic interventions."
