Cork East TD James O'Connor will meet with the Taoiseach Micheál Martin and the Transport Minister Eamon Ryan today about the National Development Plan.
He said that he would be looking at a number of options including resigning the whip of the Fianna Fáil party if he does not get a commitment on the projects for the East Cork region.
The TD said he felt misled after a number of projects did not feature in the plan including the Castlemartyr and Killeagh bypass.
