One in three properties available for rent in the area near UCC appear not to registered by landlords with the Residential Tenancies Board, according to the Magazine Road Residents association.
The association says that in their most recent sample check of 269 properties taken this month, 99 properties appear not to be registered with the RTB.
In a statement this morning they say that of those 99 properties, 67 were highlighted to the RTB in 2017, and in February of this year wrote to Director of the RTB Niall Byrne and and the board of Management to raise their concerns, however they have not yet received a response.
