10 men are being quizzed by detectives investigating a suspected drug smuggling operation in West Cork
The wide ranging investigation involves several agencies including Gardai, the naval service and international police forces
A number of vehicles were seized in the operation which focused on Leap and Tragumna and they are being forensically examined for any traces of drugs
Speaking to RedFM News Eoin English of the Irish Examiner says Gardaí will also be examining the men's movements over the last few days
" They are also tracking the movements of these individuals to see when some of them arrived into the country. They are examining phone records and email records to establish where these men stayed. It's my understanding that they have identified a number of hotels and Airbnbs in the West Cork area where these men would have stayed in recent days"
