One student at CBC was awarded 8 H1 grades while four students received 7 H1's.
They were among the 7,000 students in the city and county collecting their Leaving Cert results this morning.
The results that pupils received today have been adjusted out of fairness for the class of 2023 so they're in line with the inflated grades in recent years.
Speaking to RedFM News, Principal of Christian Brother's College, David Lordon has this advice for anyone hoping to achieve high points next year:
"It's all down to starting early, trusting the teachers who are working with you- have faith in them. They have huge experience over so many years. Trust your school and start early. Don't put it on the long finger. Don't kick the can down the road. Don't wait till October or Christmas or after the pre's. The earlier you start, the easier the year is, and if you put in the work, the hard work pays off."
