100 new jobs are to come on stream in Cork
Waterman Tecsar Engineering Alliance has announced a major expansion plan of their Irish operations
The new jobs come as IDA Ireland figures for last year show hundreds of jobs and millions of euro were announced for Cork through foreign direct investment
These latest jobs at Waterman Tecsar Engineering Alliance will come on stream over the next three years
The positions will be across a range of engineering fields
The firm was set up after two engineering companies - Cork based Waterman Consulting Engineers and Canadian based Tecsar Engineering Incorporated came together and formed a plan to expand into Europe.
Last year saw huge investment by companies with Cork bases including €60 million by BioMarin Pharmaceutical in their Shanbally operations, €130 million by Cara Partners and the opening of a Cork office by Proofpoint leading to the creation of 200 new jobs
