100 patients are without beds in hospitals across the county this morning.
Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded hospital in the country today, where 80 patients are waiting on trolleys.
An additional 20 patients are on trolleys in the Mercy University Hospital, according to the INMOs daily trolley watch figures.
It comes following a call from the INMO for all private hospital beds to be used to cope with overcrowding this winter.
