12 Cork children, in full uniform became 'Honorary Gardaí' at a ceremony in Togher yesterday.
EchoLive.ie is reporting that each one was presented with a special certificate and commemorative Garda medal at the honorary Passing Out ceremony.
The Little Blue Heroes Foundation charity is ran by volunteer Gardaí with their families and friends, for children undergoing long-term medical treatment for serious illnesses.
The roll call of newly appointed honorary Gardaí reads: Ruby Moore, Calvin Mulryan, Callum O’Brien, Billy James Kiely, Elijah Rylee O’Dell, Sky Hope Northington, William Francis Bailey, Abigail Curtin O’Connell, Cayden Dempsey, Warren McSweeney Donovan, and Shay Mulhare.
