Two Cork based not-for-profits have been shortlisted for the prestigious CEB Award.
Recruit Refugees Ireland supports refugees and asylum seekers to find work in Ireland, while The Sanctuary Runners organises teams of runners, joggers and walkers made up of Irish residents, refugees and asylum seekers.
Other than the 2 Cork charities, 4 other projects made the shortlist for the Europe-wide award, with entries from 21 countries.
It is organised by the Council of Europe Development Bank and this year's Awards Night will be held in Dublin on the 7th of July.
