It happened outside the City Centre this morning
The alarm was raised shortly before 10am this morning, and Gardai and emergency services attended the scene on the Farran Road just off the N22.
It was here that an accident involving a car and a motorbike occurred.
The male motorcyclist was taken to CUH with serious non-life threatening injuries, while the female driver of the car was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
