The former Enterprise Minister says the high quality of tech graduates is attracting large companies to Cork.

It comes as 200 jobs have been announced by Motorola Soloutions as it opens a new research and development centre in the city.

Speaking to RedFM News, Former Enterprise Minister and Cork TD Simon Coveney says the highly skilled workforce here is making Cork an attractive place for companies:

"It's going to be one of their global R&D centres, and they've decided to choose Cork as the best place to do that because of the quality of graduates they can find in Cork, the quality of software engineers and generally the tech skills. So all of that is a big endorsement of Cork as an international centre that can attract some of the top companies in the world"
