21 protests across 11 counties, including Cork, have been organised for today by the Cost-of-Living Coalition.
The group is warning of a big hit in the New Year, once additional payments, included in the budget, cease.
They say households are struggling as the cost of energy, food and rents go up.
The protest begins on Grand Parade at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
