Bellmount Developments are at a pre-application phase with An Bord Pleanala
They are discussing the potential build for the Wilton Road at Victoria Cross.
The Echo reports that An Bord Plenala is due to rule on whether the 265-bed complex can go ahead by the end of October.
A green light on this project, combined with other approved student housing developments such North Main Street, Washington Street, and The Lough would see over 1,000 new student beds in the pipeline for Cork City.
