276 new homes have been given the green light in Bishopstown.
Planning has been approved for the development on land between Dunnes Stores Shopping Centre and Marymount Hospice, just south of the N40.
It is set to feature a mix of terraced, semi-detached and detached homes, as well as seven mainly four-storey blocks of apartments and duplexes.
It will also include a café, a creche, cycle tracks, and pedestrian walkways.
An initial application for 240 homes at the greenfield site was refused by by An Bord Pleanála in 2019 with traffic volumes a key concern.
