There were 396 patients waiting on a bed at hospitals around the country this morning.
The INMO's latest Trolleywatch has found 333 patients were waiting in emergency departments, while 63 were in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
Cork University Hospital had the highest number of patients on trolleys with 49 people waiting on a bed.
That was followed by 41 patients at University Hospital Limerick and 40 at University Hospital Galway.
