Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded hospital in the country today with 56 people waiting for a bed.
The figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation revealed that 317 patients are waiting in the Emergency Department nationally.
and 73 patients are in wards elsewhere in the hospital throughout the country.
