Gardaí arrested 6 people driving under the influence of drink or drugs in Cork over the weekend.
7 vehicles of uninsured or unlicensed drivers were also seized at checkpoints throughout the county.
Gardaí say all drivers will face court appearances in the new year.
Gardaí said:
"Cork County Roads Policing Units carried out several high visibility patrols and Checkpoints in the Mallow District overnight. 6 drivers were arrested for driving under the influence of Drink or Drugs. 7 vehicles were also seized from uninsured/unlicensed drivers. The drivers face court appearances in the new year."
