Appointments at National Driving Licence Service centres nationwide were postponed at short notice earlier today.
This meant hundreds of customers couldn't renew their licences.
The cancellations were caused by an issue with internal NDLS systems.
The Irish Examiner is reporting that approximately 60 people had their appointments cancelled by the NDLS centre in the city this morning.
The issue has been fixed and the system is back working as normal.
The Road Safety Authority say any customers affected will be offered new appointments.
