7 people have been arrested in connection with a Garda investigation targeting organised crime in Cork City.
Officers say the operation is ongoing, but so far 7 properties have been searched and a number of items seized.
The men arrested are aged between their 20's and 40's and are being held at Garda stations in the Cork City area.
Yesterday's operation included Cork based Serious Crime Garda, Surveillance unit officers, armed support unit members, the dog unit and other local officers.
