The figures from last years census show that 72% of people who were born in Cork still live there.

Meath has the lowest figure of natives still living there at 32%.

One in four people living in Dublin were born in another country- similar numbers of people living in Monaghan and Donegal were also born outside the state.

People in Roscommon and Leitrim were most likely to move to another county, while Cork had the lowest rate of people moving to another county at just 18%.
