A new study has revealed 85% of students intend to stay in Ireland after graduation.

The research was published by TELUS Digital for MTU’s LGBTQ plus flag week.

45% of students want to work for a large multinational company while 53% expect to find employment 4 months after graduation.

These students at MTU in Bishopstown told RedFM News they will stay in Ireland if the right opportunities arise:

- "If I'm getting good benefits and pay I would stay in Ireland mainly because my families and friends are here, but if there are better abroad I would leave."

-"People want to stay at home, but there's not a lot of opportunities here especially for some people depending on what course they're doing."

-"There's at least a few jobs in my industry of computer science, I intend to stay here but it's hard to tell with these things."
