Cork University Hospital is the second most overcrowded hospital in the country today, where 58 patients are waiting on trolleys.

Across the county, 95 patients are without beds, including 33 in the Mercy University Hospital and 4 in Bantry General.

According to the INMOs trolley watch figures, nationally there are 586 patients on trolleys.
