Three month old Loki escaped from his owner Lidia on the way to the vet and spent the night under Éamon de Valera Bridge despite the best efforts of Lidia, Cork Fire Bridge and Cork City Missing Persons Search and Recovery.
The search and recovery group returned to the bridge this morning with a cat trap and some cat food to lure him from his hiding place.
Lucky Loki entered the trap and was returned to his relieved owner.
