Their colleagues around the country will stage similar demonstrations
In April, Debenhams announced it would be going into liquidation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a move which has affected 1,500 staff members across Ireland including 330 in Cork.
The workers have been campaigning since then for a fair redundancy package.
Yesterday it was confirmed that Debenhams is to increase its offer to staff by €1 million, and that staff would also be paid one third of profits from the sale of stock.
