Irish Water crews will be installing new water connections on the R609 south of Douglas Pitch and Putt and across the road from Darraglynn Nursing home.
Local and emergency traffic will be maintained on the stretch of road, while pedestrian management will also be in place.
Irish Water says homes and businesses in the area may experience reduced water pressure and outages while works are taking place.
