A group representing the Indian Community in Cork are liaising with the family of Deepa Dinamani to repatriate her body to India.
The body of the 38-year-old was discovered at a house in Wilton in Cork City on Friday night- a man has been charged with her murder.
Cork Pravasi Malayali have formed an action group and say they are also in contact with Deepa’s brother, the Indian Embassy in Ireland and Gardaí regarding the return of her five-year-old child to India.
Over 150 people attended a vigil in Wilton yesterday evening.
