A French military aircraft which made an emergency landing at Cork Airport this morning may be in a position to depart in the next few hours
The crew on board the maritime patrol aircraft declared a pan-pan alert shortly after 7.30am to air traffic control amid fears of a possible fire in the tail area of the aircraft
Airport police and the fire service at Cork Airport were all mobilised as the inbound aircraft with 23 people on board landed safely just before 8.10am
