The latest figures from the RSA show Wilton is the worst impacted by the backlog with 5,721 learner drivers.
Over 1,900 drivers in Mallow are waiting for an appointment, while Skibbereen has a waiting list of over 1,000.
Nationally almost 94,000 people are waiting for a driving test, an increase of 70% since June last year according to Sinn Féin.
The party is calling on Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan to urgently consult with instructors, testers and their unions to increase the number of tests that can be carried out safely in the coming months.
